Amazon's yearly sale acts as a mid-year counterpoint to Black Friday and offers its members exclusive deals. These days, Amazon exists as the shopping cart for literally everything you want. Want to order groceries that you need in literally hours? Amazon will do that. Want to buy a new tablet, a swimsuit, toys, furniture and cereal in bulk, all in one order? You can do that on Amazon. Amazon has also gotten into the streaming business and entertainment powerhouse, too, with Prime Video and Amazon Music unlimited. Oh, and thanks to Amazon's Echo smarthome line, you can use its smart assistant, Alexa to control your lights, play music and order more stuff from Amazon, of course.

Amazon Prime Day
Prime Day 2022 ran July 12 and 13, featuring thousands of deals. Some of the best deals were on Amazon's own products, like the Echo and Echo Dot speakers (more than half off), Amazon Fire Tablets (up to 60% off) and Amazon clothing (up to 30% off). Shoppers also found plenty of Amazon Prime Day deals on Apple products, as well as on Roomba robot vacuums. One of our favorite Amazon deals this Prime Day was up to 25% off select gift cards (including Grubhub, Fandango, Bed Bath & Beyond and more). Another great Prime Day buy? Subscriptions. For example, you could sign up for Amazon Music Unlimited and try it for free for 90 days.Amazon Prime Early

Access
In addition to its famous Prime Day sale, Amazon is offering another Prime-members-only shopping event in 2022 -- Prime Early Access (Oct. 11-12). This first-ever event from Amazon features deals for early holiday shoppers, spanning tech, toys, beauty, home goods and more.

Amazon Deals
In addition to its famous Prime Day sale, Amazon offers plenty of deals throughout the year. Shoppers can pounce on Amazon Lightning Deals, which are super-discounted but super-short-lived discounts. You'll also find coupons while you shop. To snag these Amazon deals, just click the coupon to "clip" it and it'll be added to your eligible order automatically. Don't have time to hunt for Amazon deals? Use the Amazon app to set up price alerts. Or ask Alexa, "What are my deals" to see what's on sale.

How to Save More at Amazon:
Annual Sales
Amazon reliably throws massive sales during its Prime Day event and during Black Friday. It also offers regular Amazon coupon offers and discounts throughout the year. Many products on Amazon are sold via third-party sellers. These companies determine the prices of their items. In some instances, the sellers offer discounts on select items. Amazon offers trial memberships for Amazon Prime, Audible.com and Kindle Unlimited. Each year, the company offers special discounts on Amazon Prime Day that allow you to try some of these membership services for a much lower cost.
Customer Service
Amazon offers several ways to contact its customer service team. The company's customer service number is 1 (888) 280-4331. Email support and online help are available. Customers can access the help library to get information about different topics.
Live Chat
Live chat is available on the Amazon marketplace website. Customers can access this feature on the "Contact Us" page. When customers click the chat button, they can interact with an online representative.
Amazon Prime
When customers enroll in Amazon Prime, they receive many perks. Benefits of joining Amazon Prime include free fast shipping, access to streaming services and discounts at Whole Foods.
App & Rewards
Amazon offers several apps. These include Kindle, Prime Video, Amazon Shopping and Amazon Alexa. The Amazon shopping app has a slew of perks and tools, including the ability to set push notifications for price alerts.
Return Policy
Amazon's return policy depends on the items that customers purchase. Customized product returns are accepted within 14 days of purchase. Electronics can be returned within 30 days of purchase for a full refund. Customers can learn more about the company's return policy on the website.
In-Store Financing
The Amazon Prime Rewards Signature Visa card is available to purchase items at Amazon or other stores. Upon approval, customers will receive a sign-up bonus that varies. Other benefits include no annual credit card fee, up to 5% cash back on Amazon purchases.
Delivery Options
Amazon has expanded its delivery options impressively, and its delivery benefits are especially sweet for Prime members. It offers same-day delivery (free for Prime members on orders over $25); free two-day shipping (unlimited for Prime members); fresh grocery delivery; pickup lockers; in-store pickup at its physical locations and more. Shipping costs vary for each delivery option. It has tried a lot of delivery experiments over the years, including the ability to have your order dropped off in your car trunk, which it ended in 2021.
Gift Cards
Amazon gift cards are available online and at local retailers. Customers can purchase gift cards for any denomination up to $2,000. It takes a few seconds to redeem an Amazon gift card when customers check out.
Third-Party Sellers
Amazon offers plenty of opportunities for third-party sellers to sell products and generate revenue. Each year, nearly 225,000 sellers sell more than $100,000 worth of products on this platform. Amazon provides all the things companies need to be successful in the marketplace.
Subscribe and Save
From shampoo to soda, Amazon offers select items on a subscription basis for a discount. Agree to a regular delivery plan for the best deals on recurring purchases.
Student Discounts
Students enjoy a rate of $69 per year for Amazon Prime subscriptions, saving 50% on their annual bill.
Returns
Most items sold and shipped by Amazon are eligible for free returns.
Amazon Monthly Payments
Amazon Monthly Payments is a pay-over-time option available on select products. When shopping, find it within the Payment Options section of the product page. This option allows you to receive the item right away (with an initial down payment) and then pay a certain amount every 30 days until the item is paid off.
Amazon Buy Now Pay Later Options
In addition to Amazon's Monthly Payments program (see above), you can use Affirm and Klarna to pay overtime -- you'll just need to shop Amazon via these apps and use them as your payment method.
Grubhub Plus with Amazon Prime
In 2022, Amazon added a new benefit for Prime members -- Grubhub+ membership for a year. That's a $120 value, and Grubhub+ gets users free delivery, special offers and more.
Amazon Black Friday deals
The Amazon Black Friday sale usually runs the entire Thanksgiving week. Expect some of the best pricing of the year on Amazon's smart home devices, tablets, Apple products, fashion and more. Amazon also offers discounts on its own services, like Audible and Amazon Music Unlimited. And don't forget to check out the Amazon Black Friday gift card deals, as you can sometimes save off the face value of gift cards from major merchants.
Amazon Black Friday coupons
Amazon coupon offers are also sprinkled throughout its Black Friday sale. You'll sometimes see these extra offers for additional discounts or freebies/bundled items as you shop. Simply "clip" these Amazon Black Friday coupons to save them, and they'll be automatically applied when you add eligible items to your cart.
